The Aiper EcoSurfer S2 is a surface skimmer: it collects floating debris only — leaves, insects, pollen, and algae. It does not clean the pool floor, walls, or waterline. For complete pool maintenance, it works best alongside a dedicated pool floor robot.
When the battery drops below a set threshold, the EcoSurfer S2 automatically detects the sunniest areas of the pool and repositions itself there to recharge using solar energy. Combined with a full 4.5-hour mains charge delivering over 35 hours of runtime, this system keeps the unit running continuously 24/7.
Yes. The EcoSurfer S2 works with inground, above-ground, and semi-inground pools of any shape, up to 12 x 6 m. Compatible pool surfaces include liner, polyester, tile, and concrete. Its completely cordless design makes it a great fit for virtually any pool type.
Swimming at the same time as the EcoSurfer S2 is not recommended. This is standard practice for virtually all autonomous robots and skimmers, both for safety reasons and to ensure effective cleaning. The unit is easy to remove from the water before anyone gets in.
Every time the unit stops or changes direction, the Aquadynamic Baffle flap closes automatically, sealing the 4-litre basket to prevent collected debris from escaping back into the pool. The four retractable anti-beaching columns also stop the robot from getting wedged on steps or in shallow areas.
Yes, the built-in dispenser accepts standard 3-inch chlorine tablets with an adjustable flow rate, so you can dial in the right concentration for your pool. The unit is compatible with both chlorinated and salt water pools. The flow rate is adjusted directly on the dedicated compartment located on top of the skimmer.
The Aiper app is available free of charge on both iOS and Android. Initial pairing is done via Bluetooth, after which you can control the unit remotely over Wi-Fi. The app lets you monitor battery level in real time, switch between cleaning modes, and trigger an on-demand cleaning cycle whenever you need.
The Aiper EcoSurfer S2 comes with a 2-year Aiper warranty covering the robot itself. The DC charger and retrieval hook are each covered for 6 months. In the event of a defective product, Aiper handles replacement or repair through its network of authorised service centres.
